Injection Molding of plastic products
rose plastic’s injection molding machines have a closing force of (250 - 3500 KN) providing the capacity to inject between 1 to 700 gm. of material. rose plastic can process numerous plastic materials such as PP, PE and PS in multi-cavity molds.
An injection molding machine operates as follows:
Material in the form of plastic pellets are fed into the extruder from a hopper. The pellets are moved along by a heated screw, and melted by heat. The screw then compresses the melted plastic and injects it at high pressure through a nozzle into the mold. The melted plastic material fills the inner shape of the mold (e.g. cavity), and then forms to the shape of the cavity as the tool is cooled. After a short cooling period the tool opens and ejects the finished article.
